October 2024 – Black Forest

This year’s CACE club international trip, held from October 4th to 7th, 2024, was an unforgettable experience in the enchanting Black Forest of Germany. Participants enjoyed comfortable accommodations at Hotel Zum Schützen in Oberprechtal, where hospitality and local cuisine added to the charm. The highlight of the trip was the Black Forest Trailrun Masters, featuring challenging races such as the 58 km Elztal Trail and the 13 km Bodehausle Trail, where participants displayed remarkable grit and determination. Evenings in Room 501 were filled with camaraderie, local delicacies, and shared stories, creating cherished memories. The trip concluded with a farewell dinner at Gasthaus Rössle and a traditional morning run, capped off by a surprise rainbow as a perfect send-off.

This annual event was more than just races; it was a chance to forge friendships and explore new horizons. We invite you to join us on future CACE adventures.

October 2023 - Lisbon

From Friday 6 to Monday 9 October, 28 CACE members spent a wonderful time in sunny hot Lisbon for the annual CACE trip!

Pasteis de natas , discovery of the city, tasteful restaurants , a real birthday and a fake one duly celebrated , an amazing post race rooftop , a Lisbon Marathon & Half full of last minute surprises … but overall quality time together were the key words!
