Hey there, speedy CACE runners! Can you believe we have already sprinted through the first quarter of the year? It’s been a wild ride of races!
Let’s hit rewind! ⏮
Beginning February, the RCB Hivernales was a good reason for the Club to meet and run across all the offered distances (10km, 19,2km or 39km).
Three weeks later, there was the Druiven Marathon, where we dashed through vineyards in Overijse. Big congrats to Claire and Paulina who made a podium for the 60km, respectively 1st and 3rd, you rocked it! On the same day, Giancarlo and Sebastian were off taking the National Park Marathon Hoge Kempen (22km).
Mid-April, CACE members could even choose between different distances at the Marathon de Forêt de Soignes, where city streets were traded for the tranquility of the forest, and the 14th edition of the 10km of Uccle, with more than 2200 participants who took part to this popular race through Wolvendael Park. Whatever race it was, CACE was there!
But our journey didn’t stop there. In between races, our Thursday intervals at the Cinquantenaire track have been gaining momentum. If you’re looking for a good sweat session, don’t miss out – swing by around 12:45 next Thursday and join in on the fun!
