Established over 40 years ago, CACE is the running club of the European Institutions. CACE provides a support network for all runners who want to train and compete on a regular basis – regardless of your level – road and trail runners of all speeds and levels are welcome – competitive as well as recreational (we do not have any start-to-run activities). Preparing with, and competing against your colleagues keeps you keen and adds to the fun.
The CACE programme focuses on a year-round programme of races in the Brussels region . This includes a diet of local ‘joggings’ – complemented by cross-country, trails and road races. CACE members train together for these events. We welcome all new runners to join us for a training run in 50aire park. We also organise a few social runs per year, usually scheduled on a Friday with a start at 18:10 at the entrance of the Cinquantenaire, followed by drinks and dinner (dates confirmed to our members on our Whatsapp group and on Heylo a bit before the event).
If you would like to know more about CACE or join us for a training run in the 50aire, please contact Niall Bohan or Paulina Dejmek Hack (cace@cace.be) .
The annual membership fee is 40 euros (to be transferred at the beginning of the year or when you join). Membership is primarily aimed for people working in the EU institutions. All members are expected to participate actively in the activities of the club.
You are working for the European Institutions and interested in becoming a member? Please send an e-mail to cace@cace.be . If you do not work for the EU institutions, please include the name of the current member who has referred you to CACE.
CACE membership entitles all members a free entry to some main races mentioned in our programme, which is agreed on by the members at the Annual General Meeting in January each year, subject to possible later modifications.
